I was sent the rough mix of their "Death Knell" song already at the dawn of this new decade, and it was an instant wonderful hit in my mind and ears. That song mesmerizes all those I've played it for, and then there's those falling falling falling notes at the end of it which seems like mercyful fate melts down the wall in a way ARVO PÄRT would make it sound. Beyond brilliant.


Then i was sent the entire demo with lyrics, and I also fell for their "Ritual" song. This soundscape is extremely old, special andpleasing - and a fist in the face of those with incredibly bad music taste (hei roy from imhotep)!


I pitched them to Peaceville, but tons of other labels gave GHOST their interest and it now seems they shall sign with VAN RECORDS, those that brought you the devil's blood.
